The Tax Office mission is to make the paying of ad valorem property taxes and licensing and titling of vehicles easy, efficient, and cost effective for the citizens of Wichita County.
The Tax Office assesses and collects for 8 taxing jurisdictions in the County, disbursing almost $120 million dollars to these entities in the most recent tax year. In addition, the Tax Office processed 140 thousand vehicle registrations and title transfers last year. The County Tax Office uses the most advanced technology to assure that citizens of Wichita County receive only the best customer service available.

We are very proud to announce that Mrs. Amy Chong is our recipient for the first quarter of 2023 of our (CQSA) Customer Quality Service Award. Amy has been with our office a little over a year now and we all knew she was going to be a great fit and valuable part of our office from day one. Amy’s smile, her tone and temperament has made her a natural with the public. Amy’s confidence and her ability to stay on task with working through a vast variety of motor vehicle registration and titling issues makes her an invaluable part of our motor vehicle division’s team of line staff deputy clerks.
